What is CalSpeed?

CalSpeed is an AI-powered calendar assistant that lets you manage your schedule through natural conversation on messaging platforms like Telegram, Discord, and Microsoft Teams. Instead of navigating calendar apps manually, you simply tell CalSpeed what you need — schedule a meeting, move an appointment, or cancel an event — and it handles the rest.

How does it work?

When you connect CalSpeed, you authorize it to access your calendar via a secure OAuth connection. CalSpeed then reads your existing events to understand your availability and writes new events, updates, or cancellations directly to your calendar on your behalf. All communication between CalSpeed and your calendar provider is encrypted and authenticated.

What data does CalSpeed access and why?

• Calendar events — CalSpeed reads your calendar events (titles, times, attendees, and descriptions) so it can check your availability and avoid scheduling conflicts.
• Create, edit, and delete events — When you ask CalSpeed to schedule, move, or cancel a meeting, it writes those changes directly to your calendar.
• Basic profile information — Your name and email address are used to identify your account and associate it with your calendar.

AI Transparency

CalSpeed uses Anthropic's Claude as its underlying AI service to understand your natural-language requests and manage your calendar. Your calendar data is processed through Claude's API to interpret scheduling instructions, check availability, and generate the appropriate calendar actions.
